Located just five minutes from Fernvale, Highlands of Vernor offers a one-of-a-kind Highland cow photography experience with K n J Photography, perfect for creating treasured family photos. Get ready for a fun-filled, hands-on adventure where your family can interact with these majestic Highland cattle. Known for their iconic long, flowing coats and impressive horns, these "fluffy cows" love to get up close for a cuddle or a lick behind the ear! You’ll get the chance to feed, brush, and lead these gentle giants while I capture every authentic, joyful moment. With a focus on family farm photoshoots and immersive experiences, this session promises beautiful, lasting memories set in the heart of Queensland's natural landscape. Book today and secure a unique family adventure that you'll cherish forever!

There is a $200 fee to book at your preferred time and date. This amount is paid through K n J, directly to the farmer to help cover ongoing maintenance costs regarding the cattle themselves. Digital Packages start at just $650.

Firstly the communication was excelent, then the photo session we hate getting photos done but you didnt feel like it was. Kelly made you feel comfortable, she was friendly and we absolutely loved the finished product. Meet Your Highland Cow Farmer - Ash

Hi, I'm Ashleigh! Alongside my husband Aaron, our two wonderful children, and our beloved Highland cows, we proudly represent Highlands of Vernor, nestled in the heart of Somerset, Fernvale, Queensland.

Beyond being a dedicated mother to both humans and coos, my passion lies in Emergency Nursing, where I've spent over a decade caring for others. Aaron and I are lifelong locals, and when the opportunity arose to expand our home, we knew Highland cows were the perfect fit.

Why Highlands? Well, what's not to love? From their majestic horns and shaggy fringes to their soft noses, fluffy coats, and gentle nature, these incredible animals are more than just farm livestock-they're family. With love, patience, and care, they thrive on human connection and become affectionate companions.

Since starting our registered fold in 2021, we've been on an exciting journey, and we're thrilled to welcome our first baby Highland calves in 2025! As proud members of the Australian Highland Cattle Society, we are dedicated to preserving and promoting this remarkable breed.
