Seasonal Fields – Stunning Portraits Among the Blooms

From September through late October, I capture families, couples and children at the iconic Kalbar Sunflower Festival location, surrounded by pink paper daisies, golden canola and soft wheat fields. For those seeking something closer to home, I also offer sessions at a local yellow flower field in Fernvale, typically blooming from August to late September.

Come October and November, the magic continues with jacaranda season — those breathtaking bursts of purple found scattered throughout South East Queensland, from Ipswich to Goodna and beyond. I love tracking down these stunning trees wherever they appear each year to create truly unique portraits beneath their canopy.
